On August 30 the Republican Liberty Caucus of Minnesota announced its endorsement of Dave Kruse in the Minnesota House district 23B race, naming him as a candidate who will restore fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, and reduced size to state government

“Our state government is living well beyond its means, and Minnesotans are feeling the consequences of the DFL-led legislature’s inability to set the state’s spending priorities given the realities of current revenues,” said state RLC Chairman David FitzSimmons.

Founded in 1990, the Republican Liberty Caucus works to advance the principles of individual rights, limited government and free enterprise within the Republican Party.  The Minnesota Chapter was chartered in 2003.

On August 19 the Minnesota Farm Bureau announced its endorsement of Dave Kruse in the Minnesota House district 23B race, as the candidate who most strongly supports Farm Bureau policies. House district 23B includes the city of Mankato.

The Farm Bureau is a non-partisan, national farm-based organization. Minnesota Farm Bureau endorses both individual Republicans and Democrats based on their support for Farm Bureau policies. “Sustainability is directly tied to profitability,” says MFBF President Kevin Paap, “In order for agriculture to remain a vital part of our state and nation’s economy, Farm Bureau will advocate for policies that positively impact farm and ranch profitability.”
